What is this long stringy thread off my mushroom can I pluck it

+1 on vermetid snail, it’s to the frag with mushroom,, take it out and crush it with pliers. They are super annoying to deal with, they could kill sps corals with their web, by irritating them.

On the right side is the snail, if you use gel like superglue under water zap it and you re done, don't take it off (the vermetid) under water, isn't easy to done it properly that way.

Gel superglue or Putty for coral over the hole will end its life. You can also go to the very base of it and remove with small screwdriver BUT be sure you get it ALL Off
