What's on my Zoas

I have a small colony of zoa in my frag tank that hasn't looked happy the past couple days. Barely opening and constant blinking. I used a flashlight tonight and I can see what looks like fuzz or tiny white hairs growing on the affected parts. Any ideas what this is and/or how to treat it?

Are they bothering the zoas or keeping them from opening up? Usually from what ive read, Hydriod population will rise and fall based on how much you feed the tank.

If the Zoas are not opening because of them you could try lightly brushing them off with a toothbrush. Im sorry I don't know much about hydriod treatment options but maybe someone will chime in here with some better info

I'd try getting a good syringe (maybe a monoject 412) and using the flow to get it off. Make sure to do this outside of the main tank. The symptoms are in line with zoa fungus - not opening, agitated, white goo, and what really makes me think fungus is the fact that some polyps are open (I can see that from the picture). You likely will not save the coral, I haven't heard of someone who has, but I also haven't really heard of it spreading. I'd really suggest just trashing it. Best of luck.
