What's should be the minimum size of acclimation box?

Hi guys, I made a DIY acclimation box. Has two compartments. Each compartment 6 inch long, 3 inch high (water level) and 9 inches wide. I built this to separate my clown tang which is being an a** to my other tangs. Hoping it'll help reduce its aggression when I reintroduce it after a week or 2.

In the other compartment I plan on acclimating a newly bought Sailfin up to 3inch size.

Here's a picture of the acclimation box. Please let me know if the dimensions are enough to host the fish for acclimation.

Can you lower it so that it has more than 3" of water?

That's good idea. Yes that's possible will add couple of inches to the height. Do you think there should be enough space after that?

Depending on how large the fish are. They should be able to swim some or it will stress the fish, which may cause them to get ich or other issues. To give you an idea of size I have one that is a 8" cube that worked well for a 2.5" hogfish for a while.
