What's surrounding my my Zoas?

What's surrounding my zoas? At first I thought it was xenia but now I'm not sure. It has a blue tinge to it. Any ideas?

Looks more like xenia than clove polyp to me.

Edit: I'm probably wrong, but the color and look of the 2nd pic had me thinking xenia.

Thanks for the responses and advice! I'll wait a little while to see what they are when they get a little bigger and decide what I will do then.

Resembles blue sympodium, highly invasive.

Most corals like this are considered invasive. This only means they grow fast and can cover surrounding corals. If you don't mind the added time to cut them back they are fine. I keep some Xenia in my tank by surrounding it with frogspawn. Many stinging corals can keep in isolated if you do it correctly.

I've researched blue cloves and it seems like either you love them or you don't. I watched a video of Rico's reef tank and saw how he used them to his benefit. I actually like the way they look so with the fact that I see my tank as an ongoing experiment, we'll see how it goes.

Clove polyps. I can isolate these to a single rock -- but they still tend to migrate to unwanted places.

Looks like Blue/Purple Clove polyp to me if thats the colour that your seeing. If you can, isolate that or else it will take over your tank. I still have a friend that is having trouble getting rid of theirs...it grows everywhere...even on the sandbed.
