I'm about to place order but stopped. I've been reading lately about how much you guys suck is if I order from the California facility, but there are some anthias I really want. About to order, but a $10 "box" charge? that the f*@k is that? I'm not placing the order until you remove that crap charge. PM me if you want my business.

Check divers den for better sucess rate anthias imo never ordered from them but everone else does a lot better from divers den.

$10 box charge? I always order them with the free shipping and never had to pay for that unless something had changed recently. I had ordered at least 5-7 orders from them, overall pretty ok. However, their dry goods definitely went down hill after drfoster was gone.

I went to check out and they're trying to add a "box charge." Sounds like a completely made up charge.

Not sure what you mean by “made up”. They are charging for the insulated shipping box and packing materials. Read their shipping policies if you don’t understand?

There was a shipping charge plus a "box charge." NY Aquatic has never tried something like this.

Regardless, I've read enough about liveaquaria in the last hour to make me never want to order from them ever again. Which really stinks because they used to be right up in Rhinelander near where my dad grew up.

That's a new policy for them. $150 for free shipping, plus a $10 dollar box fee. These guys keep getting better and better.

The box charge is new, just started seeing it added on in the last few weeks. Even if you meet the free shipping requirements, there is still the box charge. Is what it is.
Thanks for clearing that up.

I’ve ordered from them 4x in the last few months and no issues at all. Actually everything has been very healthy....that’s why I keep ordering. The box charge is crap yeah, but if your ordering enough to get free shipping you’re getting $15 in rewards back on your next order, plus they include a 15% off coupon on your next order in each shipment. I’m new to this online livestock deal as I’ve Recently moved off the coast a bit, and I haven’t found a good lfs. I haven’t ordered from anyone else online...so I don’t have anything to compare to, but sounds like you had your mind made up from the get go from bad reviews you’d read...idk i guess most people often only take the time get on the internet when they wanna gripe about a business, rather than compliment it.

I ordered 3 evansi anthias a couple of weeks ago and two arrived dead and the third didn't make it a week. Liveaquaria offered me store credit after I called and sent them pictures of the two dead fish within minutes of the delivery. Anyway, I was really glad I used paypal as they refunded my wasted time and money.

On top of that they are just reporting every post and having it moved to the vendor feedback section so no one sees it. So everyone comments but yours will be deleted in 5....4...3..2.

Well that’s pretty revealing, it’s not like I haven’t seen mentions of these issues in my travels around r2r. I just haven’t experienced them personally. Honestly the guarantees on the livestock after delivery caught my eye initially, but I’d hate to think they are sending out sick/dead fish regardless of the guarantee. Anyways, Any other online vendor you would recommend?

butt-Ride I recieved some very healthy fish from www.littlefishshops.com a few months ago including a hippo tang, powder blue tang and longnose butterflyfish. I floated them for 30 min while adding my tank water every few minutes and then put them straight into my tank and they are doing awesome.

Unfortunately their site has been down for maintenance the past couple of weeks.

So what if they have a $10 box charge. The container and labor to box their livestock isn't free. And they don't hide the charge. Like another poster said, you get rewards on each purchase and if your purchase if over $149, the next day shipping is free. If you don't like it, pound feet to another online retailer. I've used a few others and I'm sticking with liveaquaria.

It's absolutely amazing to me they can package fish up one day and you receive those fish the very next morning from across the country. I've ordered from Liveaquaria more times then i can remember. I've had a couple DOA and a couple die within the 14 day warranty period. They were always covered. I don't like to see it but it happens. Have you ever lost a fish from the LFS? I have!

As long as they are having a good sales I will be their customer. I don’t recommend getting corals from them but fish. For the most part, I am fine as I got refunded for the doa fish. However, if the rep is reading this, they need to step up theirs games otherwise it will turn into another “Cabelas” case if you’re a gun or outdoor person.

Anyone have any discount codes for Liveaquaria, I had some from my last orders but they got tossed? PM me

I received a shipment yesterday from LA, aside from UPS losing a box, and a frag broken of a plug (again could be ups, I deal with them daily and have them on speed dial!) Called LA to notify them of the issues, they were closed on Saturday, but they had a chat agent available and they were very responsive.
