Our motto and a very popular motto is that the only dumb question is the one not ask. That being said the more we learn and mature in this hobby we begin to realize that some of the questions we asked when we were new, we won't say dumb, were pretty funny to say the least.

these fish live together in the wild so I'm sure they will be fine in my 20 gallon.......

"Why would anyone have 2 holes in the bottom of their tank?" Proceeded to weld acrylic panels over them on the inside of tank. "Now that's better".
Wait, sooooooo, I could have done a closed loop system for more random flow with that extra pump that came with my tank? Ohhhhhh, now i get it.

The first time I ever visited the aquarium specialty shop in my current hometown (a shop that ran continuously, under the same owner, for something like 53 years...), I was a lad of about seven or ten. Walking through the aisles with my father, catching my first glimpses of blue devils, striped Dascyllus and sea horses, we came upon a tank with two tiny turtles in it.

Turtles with flippers where legs ought to be.

"Dad, can we get a . . . "

True story.
