What's the next step with your tank?

Maintenance and adding a high end frag or two on the 150

And on the big tank started slowly stocking with fish and now some CuC

It is going to be cool to see that bigger tank stocked!

Mine is simply letting the 0.7L Pico 3D printed aquarium run for a bit and see what works and what doesnt.

Already designed a new board to add 2 LEDs over this 1 as the shadowing is pretty high. Lower power and spread is going to be better I think.

But I can only try and make Picos easier by running one and learning!

Do you have a heater running in the tank?

First and foremost, I’m investing in a lid for my 35 gallon. My goby lept yesterday and I have no idea if she will pull through. She’s healthy and I’d hope a tough ole gal. This was a slight downgrade for the fish, as I moved them from the 70 to reset that tank. So she may not have realized she couldn’t go up as high as she could in the other tank or the dottyback nipped her. In any case, it needs a lid for my peace of mind as well as the others safety.

I also have to plan new rock/ sand/ stock for my 70 gallon system. And decide if I want to move the clowns and dottyback/ goby back or leave them here in the 35.

It has a custom circuit board fitted underneath which has resistors and a heatsink to radiate heat through it's base.
A thermistor is fitted to the back of the aquarium container to obtain a water temperature.
The board also does cooling, although the next one will do it with a thermo electric element on the back with a heatsink and fan to also be able to cool the aquarium without evaporation.

I'm designing this board to make everything Pico easier.

Think a inkbird with chiller and heater, but on a super small scale!

How are you planning on doing the lid?

We all have our future plans and goals with our tanks. I am wondering what is the next step with your tank? Maybe it is getting it filled with new fish, getting past the initial cycling process, or it is finally getting rid of that pesky algae. Photo Credit: @Tuna Melt

I am almost done breaking down my larger system. I should be done by the end of this weekend. I’ll be breaking my other one down in about 6-8 weeks.

I’m looking to get another anemone, one that my clowns will hopefully notice

Also about to take out a 24” platform rock and basically redo my rock scape.

We are trying hard for our clowns to notice our anemone!

My BTA split twice so I now have three, and they get no action.

I can’t remember the name but there’s a white one with pink or purple tips that I think will be one they like. I just have to find one

Current goal is to do a semi-reset and try to get it stable again. I had a balloon clip that was dripping rust into the tank, causing all SPS to die off and my lps to start bailing... Hopefully a bunch of big water changes will save it. I want to replace some rock in the tank with real rock and try to clear out all of the LifeRock, that stuff sucks.
