Do you have a link to show me which one pleaseCaribsea crushed coral live sand Is my all time favorite. Doesn't look fake, and snails love to burrow themselves in it more than other types.
Just wondering if the majority have a preferred substrate?

ThanksHere is my input, I would greatly recommend not getting black sand. There are manny horror storys about it leaching stuff in too the water, If you haven't guessed it can crash a tank. Hopefully this helps! And correct me if I'm wrong. Have a good day!
Edit: give me a moment let me get the link for my recommendation. Here you go this is what I use, I did live to help with the starting cycle. https://www.marinedepot.com/search?...DLU0C46vkb6_zc5gcFo97WKfqBHaP9eYaAjN2EALw_wcB
look up "sand bed depth calculator" on google from marinedepot and put in your tank dimensions. if you want gobies and stuff i would go for 4-6 inches. Mine is 4 inches and im happy with what I can do overall with the tank/speciesSo for 103 gallons how much carib sea live Fiji pink would you all reccomend ?

That's up to you and what kind of tank your running. But I'd say the risk is minimal. My sand came from the dry part of the beach and was cleaned thoroughly. But next time I plan to just go out at low tide and get the wet stuff. I'm not sure if I'll rinse it or not. I probably will though.I'm on this topic to get the experience refers conclusion of the best substrate and now I read your link. LOL
I live less than 1 mile from the Atlantic Ocean Beach in Wildwood New Jersey. I just got to thinking of it having live bacteria, should I go with that??? Or could there be just too many bad hitchhikers.
