Whats the smallest frag you ever have ?

Out of curiosity I made this 2 frags to see how long it will take to grow a full coral, have you had a coral that grew from a small frag to a large colony ? if yes post some photos

I had a hitchhiker frag of pocillopora ( two polyps only). It grew to a baseball size colony in about a year.

I didn't photo this frag when I cut it but it was about the same size as your photo above. It RTN'd on me and I was only able to save the very tip of it so I glued it to a rock. It sat there forever barely encrusted then one day it went nuts.

I started this same thing a little over a month ago. I remounted my Green Slimer and there was a small piece left on the original plug. So, I thought I'd put it back in the tank to see how fast it grew. It hasn't colored up much since a lighting change. It was about 1/4" long and 1/8" wide and is now about 1/4" square.

I don't have a date on the first pic but it was that small for months. The second pic was 6/5/11. The last pic was July 1st this year.

I also have this Bonsai (left) and Green Birdsnest (right) that are 1/4". The Bonsai is a little older. The Birdsnest is about one week old. Both were accidentally broke off of mothers.

I just took that pic. It was three polyp when I got it and it has a tough adjustment. I wish it was free. It reminds me of the first frag I got of Pink Lemonade many moon ago. Looked like a tic tac. This one looks like an anorexic tic tac. It is growing though.
