Yes it is an anemone but not the good kind. This appears to be a form of aphasia. That is an evasive anemone that kills other corals.

That's disapointing, no corals yet. Should I still remove it? Would a clownfish bond with it possible?

It hasn't spread, should I get rid of it? How can I remove it without killing it to put in my clown tank?

There's a ton of options for aiptasia removal but what has worked for me is adding peppermint shrimp. They died after they ran out of aiptasia to eat.
Just be careful because if you try to take them out by hand...they release spores to seed the tank with new baby aiptasia.

It isn't something that you'd want to have in any tank really. It'll multiply, similar to a hydra. Getting rid of it can be tricky, when it is severed or "broken" it multiplies. As far as I know they don't get much bigger than the one in your picture, but there are others here with more experience that could tell you better. Getting it out of your tank can be tricky because the "close" up into the rock pores they hang out on and move around the tank. I chiseled a piece of rock off to get it out, but now the rock is ugly sad choice in a moment of frustration.
