Whats this in my mixing container

I just added more RC to my brute trash can (32 gallons). Let it sit for about 3 hours and checked on it and saw all this film. The trash can is brand new was rinsed and I even washed it twice with RODI. The salt is brand new. I mixed two batches from this salt and rodi but never had this issue. I have a pump and heater going in it. Usually let it sit for 48 hours until using. Silicates? Proper removal? Thanks

Hmm, I've had RC coat the inside of my brute with brown stuff, but hadn't seen this before.

I would pour that out and make fresh water.

It's normal and I get it too. From what I understood from other posts on here, is that it is some type of clay binder they use to prevent the salt from clumping together. I used to skim it out with a net or other fine filter but have since stopped based on others experience and I have not had any negative effects from it. I never see it in the tank so I'm not sure if it completely dissipates or my filters pull it out.

Usual for RC. One reason I switched, it unnerved me.
