Whats this mess?

Any idea what i'm dealing with here? Reddish londg and stringy and also flat and smothering on my rock. Had almost no problems for a year til i used vibrant to get rid of a little turf algea. Admittedly havent tested or change water for a bit. Just looking to id and know where to start.

Agreed.
Some get this after using Vibrant, the dying of algae increases nutrients in the column.
Check your nutrient levels.

blow off cyano, suck it up, water change, repeat always using 0 TDS water for mix.

it will pass.
