Whats this mushroom doing?????

I have this mushroom and I noticed tonight it either is getting 2 mouths or it is spawning 2 new small shrooms. Can anyone tell me what it is doing?

Yep, splitting.

It could be getting ready to split or there are many mushrooms that have double mouths, their pretty common.
