What's this on clowfish

So about 10 days ago I thought the clownfish (3) looked a little off so I snagged them from my DT and put them in QT and started Paragard. That has been going on for 10 days, the last 2 days what I thought was brook has been progressing and all 3 clownfish have it, is this actually brook or something else? Being that they are in QT its ready for treatment just want to see what it most likely is so I can treat it accordingly.

I was also under the impression that paragard was treatment for brook and was supposed to be 2 weeks but just checking.

Paraguard is supposed to be a formalin safer alternative or so I was under that impression.

Yes, that looks like Brook, especially the 5th picture where you can see the slime/sloughing off occurring.

i was under the impression that formalin based meds are what should be used on brook. Someone with more experience with Paraguard may be able to advise.

for the last 10 days have been giving 1capfull per 10g and have been doing daily at about the same time everyday

I have metro as well and saw that is also a viable option to use. I purchased reef rally for the dips but won’t be in for a week, lfs don’t seem to have any.

if its brook use double the dosage of metro every 48 hours for 10-14 days and it should be gone

Awesome I did just single dose today and will double it than every 2 days.
Should I do a Paraguard dip as well since I don’t have rally yet or not necessary with doing double metro?
Also with metro should I do water changes before each dosage and if so what %?

no you dont need to do water changes when dosing metro you want it to stay in the water til you are done

Brook sometimes can respond really well to dips/baths instead of dosing in a QT. For Paraguard, dose 3ml per 1 gallon in a bath for 30-60 minutes, once a day until symptoms clear. As always, we never know how individual fish may respond. So if you see the fish is being stressed remove from the bath. Best to return the fish to a sterile QT after the bath.

Some have even had very good result by giving the fish a Freshwater Dip every day until symptoms clear. And must be returned to a sterile QT after the FW Dip.
