What's this on my Favia?

Should I worry about the red dot on this guy? Is it a pest of some sort or just discoloration?

Yep just blew off, but left a little divot where it was. Still no idea what it was...

Probably red slime algae. The area was already missing flesh. You may have issues with nitrates and or phosphates. The algae will cover anything usually along sand bed where water flow will not blow it away. The area will heal as long as coral is healthy and feed. But check perimeters.
