Whats this on my lobo?

Just noticed it tonight. I've had the lobo for about 8 months now. What is it? It has sweepers but is hard to the touch.

Probably a vermetid snail but really impossible to tell for sure with such a saturated photo

Some sps hitchhiker, I can't make out the polyps/shape of the coral/skeleton but it could be some psammacora, leptoceris, or other encruster. "Toxic" mystery, these things are one of my favorite surprizes in the hobby. A couple of times I have noticed a green dot and watched it grow out. First one was a plate coral, and the best one was a awesome torch coral. I have a couple of hitchhikers that came on some Aussie Live Rock, one looks similar to yours but another one was/is a tiny brain coral. Not sure if the last one is still alive, it was struggling but I am hoping.

Thanks Kris. I kind of reminds Me of the plate coral I had when I got the lepto but it melted almost a week later. I'll try to get some more pics tomorrow that are better.

my guess is pavona or leptoseris. but i'm leaning towards pavona.

you can try, but i only see one way to remove them both: cutting right between the lobo and the encrusting coral. but IMHO the cut would be too close to the lobo. i'd glue over the encrusting coral, and try to cut out a piece to put on a frag if you want to keep it and see what it actually is later down the road.
