What's this peach fuzz??

So I've had this white/clear hair growing on my rock for a couple months. It's not on the sand bed or glass. My CUC seems to eat it with no ill effects but it returns the next day or so. It never gets any bigger than 1/16" maybe an 1/8" just spreads. I added GFO and that seemed to slow it down. Seems to be photosynthetic but not green. What do you think? Algae? Bacteria? Fungi?

Ok thanks. Yea, tank is 5 months old. So will this go away on it's own, part of the "uglies"?
