What's this worm thing

So was looking to id a bristle worm(we think) and found this guy instead who may he be

Amphipod, looks like. I’ve got lots in my sump. They seem to like making temporary homes of the pineapple sponges down there. They’re good unless you have too many, IMO.

Copepods are what people usually seed, this is an amphipod. They’re similar, but amphipods are much bigger and sometimes prey upon copepods. As far as what mandarins and pipefish and such eat, it’s copepods, amphipods are usually too big for their mouths. But other fish in your tank will eat them, wrasses, damsels, sharpnose puffers, basslets, pretty much any carnivore/omnivore with a big enough mouth.

Would my trigger like them at least until he's to big for them he likes brine and mydias shrimp so wouldn't it be the same except alive? This was in my husband's tank
