Ok I know this is a really bad pic but it's the best I can do on my phone.... My proper camera is at work.

I have found this recently and have know idea what it is is hard to touch and branches... Any ideas

Ok that would be cool... Does it fluoresce? I'll get a better pic and post that on to
 
So this has got a little bigger since last time still not got a shout with my proper camera yet but this is better than the last any more thoughts

That looks more like a macro algae than the 1st image.
 
Okies thanks that's great... so ok to get rid then or will it not matter if it's left in?
 
If it is indeed a macro algae ( you can tell my touching it, a Pocillopora will have a hard skeleton and a macro will be soft), then yes I would pull it.
