Dumb question but is this the mushrooms foot or something else? It looks like it was just glued to the plug? I thought they needed to be on rubble. Thanks in advance!

The foot is the dark purple/blue part. The light brown part might be a piece of rubble. But, to be clear, mushrooms can grow on just about any surface.

The light purple blob around the mushroom is glue. It's just reflecting the blue light. The pinkish/brown tongue looking thing is the bit I'm not sure if it's part of the mushroom.

Looks like a baby mushroom/Ricordea.

Is it soft and loose or firm.
Not sure why someone glued a mushroom down- rare in the hobby

I think you're right that it's rubble. I took it out and poked it and the surface is hard. ;Facepalm Lol. It was hard to tell and I'm not sure what all I'm looking at with these corals yet. I kept staring at it but it didn't' look like rubble to me.
