My name is John. Been in the hobby for about a year or so. My current tank is a 44Gal corner pentagon. That is coming down however for my 90 which is cycling as I type. Heres a bunch of pics of my 44, with some growth progression shots as well. All pics are with an iPhone, and its not my strong point. I cant believe this tank actually started as a FOWLR. that didn't last long. Well here you go.

Big difference from the original shots. It's a bit stuffed right now since I took down the nano. Everything is in here now.
Here are a few growth shots. These really amazed me.

I really hate to break this tank down. I do little with it it really is amazing. If it wasn't for the scratches and stained glass I might keep it. But the 90 is cycling and will soon be ready. My wife thinks I'm crazy for taking it down. She's not so sure the other tank will be as nice. More pics coming.[/QUOTE]

Here's a few more pics. Sorry for the glare in a few of these.

These next two pics are of one of my favorite montis. Just can't get a good pic. Can't remember what is called either. In person this has a purplish body with polyps in many colors. Green, yellowish, orange, red and I can make out different shades of some of those colors too in the polyps.

Anyway that's it. Hope you liked them. Soon this tank is gone and all will find a new home across the room.
Home in waiting.

Welcome to R2R! Both tanks look great, love the scape on the new tank. Those progression shots are amazing!!! Very nice coral, keep up the great work and make sure to post more pics!!!

Welcome to r2r! The hex tank looks great! I'm sure the 90 will be just as great if not better! As for modifying posts, there is an edit button under your posts that is only there for so long and then it goes away and you can no longer edit your post... The only way to always be able to edit your posts is to become a supporting member... :)

Even right after submitting the post. The edit button is not there. Not a huge deal. But my spelling sucks so I like to correct things.

Great looking tank! What type of lighting are u using on your hex? Everything looks happy! I agree with pappy on the monti! Welcome!

4x24" T5 current nova. The light has been awesome.

Thank you everyone for the compliments.
As to the monti. When I bought it from a fellow reefer I was told forest fire. Which clearly is not. Def not poker star. Rainbow I'd consider. I also have a rainbow that is not as deep in color. As you can see in the pics. I suppose there could be more then one rainbow type monti. Again thanks everyone.
