My name is Tony, i live in san antonio texas. Found this site first by its facebook page which i added awhile back. I like really liked what i saw popping up on my page with the coral spotlight threads and some of the others..

I have a 60x18x24" tank, with about a 25 gallon sump and a remote 8 gallon fuge. I know the depth is really lacking, this is my 1st tank and has been up and running for over 3 years..

Equipment list:

Sicce 4 return pump
2 ecotech mp40s
3 aquaillumination vegas
1 aquaillumination nano (fuge)
2 48" retro t5ho with ati actinic bulbs
Sea side aquatics cs1 skimmer
10 gallon ato reservoir
Sicce 1 (ato pump)
Reef keeper elite

Live stock:

Chevron tang
Yellow tAng
Purple tang
Bristletooth tang
2 chromis the size of tangs
Tailspot blenny
Flame angel
2 clownfish
Harlequin shrimp
Numerous peppermint shrimp

The set up to me is as simple as it can get... I tried running a reactor with some rowaphos but i saw little improvement. So i yanked it and i am trying to keep it simple..

My fuge has one mangrove, chaeto and some pulsing xenia.

Tank has gone through its up and downs through the 3 years but just recently i think it has started looking good. Its not where i want it yet, and i have had the bug of a new tank and starting over.. But i cant quit yet!

Things i dont like about this tank and mostly because i was a newb getting into this....
Stand, store bought and too short, not much access and i will have something custom built to my liking
Next go around...
Plumbing, to long of runs and complex.... I bought everything i need to redo it... Problem is getting started lol....
Rock work, next time i will aqua scape it before placing in the tank... I can change it now but Im never happy with the outcome. I think alot has to do with the depth of the tank.

A few pics

These pics are a little bit older, i have
More but need to get them uploaded to photobucket.... Will post more soon...

I think that depth is awesome! Makes sure everything has a lot of light.
And how many gallons is that? 125?
My tank is only 15" deep Bc I added a DSB to mine. I like it a lot.
Also the chromis the size of tangs thing cracked me up

Without factoring in the thickness lf the glass. Its saying 112 gallons..

And im not kidding about these chromis, ppl are amazed on the size of them. They been with me since i started the tank, and i feed good.
