What's up with my chromis?

This guy has been hanging out in the top corner of my tank for over a month. I do have another chromis and they only ever fight when I have my hands in the tank and all the fish are freaking out and trying to hide. Otherwise I don't ever see anyone bullying him. He otherwise eats fine and will move down when I get close to the tank. Otherwise, he pretty much just hangs out there 24/7.

Not sure, but I had a Chromis do the same in the past. It eventually passed away for some unkown reason and appeared physically okay. Maybe it is a Chromis (outcasted) heirarchy/societal fish thing...just a WAG.

Fish will "go to the corner" when stressed by aggression, much in the same manner that yours is doing. Not good when they do this behavior.

That's what I thought initially but I never see any of the other fish go after him. When the auto feeder goes off, he'll go and eat and then right back into his corner.

one of my anthias was doin this a few months ago he never left that corner he did it for 2 weeks then eventually went into his cave and never came out i never saw any fish bully him thou really weird
