What's up with my digi? I like it!

Quick question. I have a red digitata in my little tank. About a month ago I noticed a polyp that looked out of place. Now, there are several polyps. Nothing in my tank has polyps this color (I had a rainbow monti back in July). Is my digi color morphing or is something else going on?

The white in the background is from a branch that fell off. I let it lay where it fell and heal but it blocked the light to the branch underneath.

Is there any chance there was even a tiny frag of another montipora on there that is growing in? That small patch doesn't look like digitata from the pic.

I agree with above.

I would think there is another plating or encrusting monti in there. Perhaps on the same plug?

This was a branch from a guy. No other montis in my tank and there was no plug. My thought is that it could be the rainbow monti that was in the tank back in July, but it just showed up. That one was stressed and had polyp bailout so it could be, but the rainbow has "purple" skin...
