Anyone have any ideas what is going on with my trigger? He's still eating well comma but does not look normal.

He's just blotchy right? No raised spots going on or film over his body? Heavy breathing? Is he getting picked on or has a new fish been introduced? He looks stressed out is all. I've seen triggers change color dramatically depending on what he's doing. I had a clown trigger at the store that would fade out and look pretty dull, then I put food in and his color -literally- came back in an instant as he attacked food. He wasn't stressed though, just showing off I suspect.

Nope, no spots, no film. He actually was the last fish that we put in the tank. He's only been in there for about a little over a week now. He also was the one that I thought was DOA for about a half an hour after his arrival.

Floating. Didn't move when we shook the bag multiple times. Didn't move when I poured him into a bucket, shook the bucket twice and it was like sleeping Beauty!

He could be stressed from all the shaking. Of course, it also could just be that he's still new to the tank. If he's still eating, breathing normally and acting normal, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Give him some time to adjust to his new surrounding and report back if any new symptoms show up.

Thanks all! We were actually getting him out of the bag to take pictures to send back to the seller for replacement. That's how dead he looked!
