My Xenia has been doing great for months but I just noticed a lot of white spots on it. A lot of the ends have also stopped pulsing. Any one know what might be the problem?

from this resolution it looks like flatworms, but again, thats with the clarity provided; and thats a wild guess..
can you get a closeup under white light and low flow?

Yes I'l try and do that. First thoughts are that it's unlikely. My nitrates and phosphates are at zero (maybe that's the problem??). It's also in good flow and I have a six line in the tank. From what I've read flatworms thrive in low flow & 'dirty' water

N and P should never be zero.
A balanced trace of nutrients is required for growth.
In tanks less than one year, I use N at 2-5ppm and P at 0.03 -0.1ppm

I cannot identify the spots, pics way to blue

I don’t really know what to do to try and bring my levels up. I’ve been trying to overfeed but it seems to make no difference. I’m just running a skimmer plus some carbon in my sumo. Should I turn the skimmer off for a bit?

Xenia's like dirty water.

Never seen spots on any before.

Have switched off my skimmer for now to see if that increases nitrates & phosphates a little

I'm late to the thread but did this ever get figured out? Mine is also showing white dots & curling up, not really pulsing. Params haven't changed in the 10 months the tank has been running :/
