Whats with the high shipping charges on ebay?

I see these tiny frags (on ebay) at great prices, then....$50.00 to ship! Wow! I ship cutting boards, fishing rod holders, cut acrylic pieces, etc. across the country, and even the biggest items I ship are less than $50.

Is there something I am missing about shipping a frag, or are the sellers just showing a low price, then padding the back side of the sale with an inflated shipping charge?

It's for overnight, 1 day shipping. Delicate coral frags cannot be shipped via standard Priorty, Parcel Select or First Class mail and be expected to survive. They have to go overnight.
