It now seems like tissue narcosis as it seems to be very hard and rough to gently touch with my tube ill watch ad if it gets worse ill cover it with some glueIf you can blow it off it needs more flow, likely. Ok thank you i'll get a mag and ph test on my next lfs shop tripIn my opinion you shouldn’t dose something your not testing for. With the exception of trace elements that there are no test for- and in That case ICP testing is highly advisable. If I was you I would pick up a mag test - and ph. If you trust yourself lights then they may not be the issue.
When I have issues I always check the major items first to make sure everything is ok.

I personally think keeping these main 4 at a stable acceptable level and long term consistent is key.
Also 6mo is a bit young. Honestly on my tank, things didn’t start to thrive until about a year in.
