Lost a yellow goby the day after receipt. No noticeable symptoms. Now all the fish have white lines all over them. Some look like fin rot. Idk. I can't get a photo of the yellow eye kole tang.

Here's the hawkfish.

Looks like a bacterial infection or brook— perhaps both. In any event, metroplex should take care of it.

Does metroplex rid the disease? As in, is it safe to put them in the DT?

I would do a 14 day treatment following the instructions/dosing on the bottle.

Personally I would then observe the fish in QT for an additional 14 days to make sure they are clean before placing them in DT.

I had Brook take down a new Trigger Fish in a matter of days before I realized what was going it. It was like a fast-acting plague of leprosy :(

Sadly I lost the fourth and final fish in the order this afternoon, a yellow eye kole tang. Terrible experience. I'm just trying to be thankful that I did QT. If this had happened to someone who didn't, I have little doubt you could easily lose every fish in the tank and as pointed out above, very quickly.

Will bleaching the equipment and letting air dry outside eradicate the brook? I've posted on the brook thread but I'm not entirely clear as to what it is (i.e. Parasite, virus, bacteria etc)

Sorry to hear it. Hopefully this vendor had some kind of warranty and makes things right in that regard. Always disheartening though.
