Just curious, how much and how constant flow are they getting? Mine would look retracted in higher flow and had to move them to a moderate flow spot that was more variable in direction

Ok, thanks! I'll just leave them and keep feeding them once a week.
As long as they're not completely retracting there's nothing to worry about?

I'd say they get about medium flow. Flow is probably not very random, judging by the movements of some nearby aiptasia. I've tried making it more random by moving/adding powerheads, but that would be nearly impossible without changing the hardscape, certain corals getting blasted or creating areas without flow.

Edit: just did some repositioning and added a third powerhead and it seems like I have a pretty random flow now.

Change in flow seemed to help. It's nice and random and on the low to moderate side. This is how the 2 'rainbow' frags look like now. They're definitely meatier, can't see the skeleton showing between the individual heads anymore.

Second frag also constantly has it's feeder tentacles out. Not sure what that means. Good sign? Does it want to be fed?

Curious to see if they'll extend more in the next weeks/months.

Edit: last 2 pictures are what they looked like in their original shaded spot.

They look a LOT better! Great job!!
They are looking for food, but don’t over feed. I usually do once or twice a week
