Ive had him for about 3 weeks and he was a little bleached when i got him. He shrivels up alot during the day and does have good color. I have 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite, 15 ppm nitrate. My lighting is the current marine LED.

Hes in a very hard spot to get a good picture of because the glass distortion.

How is your salinity? Some nems are not get used to leds light and will move around till they find a good spot. When they move the color will off a little..my 2 cents.

I think he just needs too find a place where he's happy .. you've mentioned lights in your tank .. what about flow ... and salinity maybe .

Salinity is 1.023 he moved a few inches from where he started but has pretty much been still for about 2 weeks. Does it take this long to get used to LED?

Little to no flow, but i have a maxijet 900 i can put in. Salinity is 1.023

Nems can be tricky invert.
That said bring up your salt a little to 25 or 26.
How's is your ALK?
This looks like a fairly new setup to me looking at the rocks.
How long this tank has been cycled?
That means not include the cycling period.

Some of my nems are get used to leds about a month then settle down where they are but 2 of them still move around. I like my salinity at least 1.025.

I use the tetra strips and ALK is in the "ideal" margin. Tanks been set up for about 7 months, but when i set it up i added nitrifying bacteria and my ammonia badge stopped showing any traceable levels at about 3 weeks, so its been cycled for months. I will get on upping the salinity now.

That rock he is on is fairly new to the tank though.

Thanks.
My advice, test daily for ALK with a good test kit as Hanna, Redsea or salifert for ALK.
Nems like their Po4 on the high side like 0.06 and No3 between 10 and 4ppm

Oh and if it is on the fairly new rock it can have something to do with it as well as the rock will leach out all kind of stuff even though it's cured.
The minute the rock isn't leaching out out any more we can talk about established rock and that can take either between a month or longer up to year sometimes.

IME nems only need feeding once a week .. I have always feed mine once a week and in a years time he's 4x the size he was when I got him ..
