Hello everyone,

I had somewhat of a tank crash about 2 months ago. My Nyos Media reactor cap blew off and pumped out all of my sump water plus some of my display water overnight. Woke up at 2AM to my downstairs neighbor pounding on my door. I lost about 60% of my corals due to the salinity swing plus temp swing. I did not have enough water on hand so it took about 3-4 hours that morning to make more saltwater to replace the lost water. I have gotten my system stabilized over time and have begun running the Zeovit system a month ago to help with nutrient issues.

The issue I am running is my Bubble tips have been super ticked since the tank crash and have lost their color and tentacles. They are still alive but i can't feed them since they don't have any tentacles. My euphyllia also have small to almost no tentacles as well. Can anyone help me out? TIA.

Temp: 77.4 - 78.2
Salt: 1.026
PH: 7.8 - 8.12
ALK: 7.07
Calcium: 574 (High for some reason)
Mag: 1308
No3: under 2ppm
Po4: .08 Average (Over last 2 weeks)
Lighting: Radion Gen 5 running AB+ at 50% Max overall intensity over 12 hour Period.

can you spot feed them with powdered food like reefroids with the flow off? even with out tentacles anything with a mouth should ingest something placed against it? small shrimp perhaps for the BTA?

I have tried feeding small meaty foods but they don’t take them. I have 4 BTAs and they all look the same. I feed rods original blend daily so the corals do get the small fine particles and so should the BTAs. I did have a very very bad case of turf algae and did dose a lot of vibrant around the time my tank crashed but stopped dosing vibrant about a month ago when I began the zeovit method.

Here’s some better pics. No mouth gaping but just looks like a sad little fellow that hasn’t seen any action in a while lol.
