What's wrong with my Duncan?

This Duncan has been in the tank for about a month, in the same spot since I glued it down and it's been healthy and happy! Then today it's skirt is just shrunken little nubs...what gives? Nothing has changed drastically recently, I'm battling some algae yes but this guy has been just fine. Yesterday it was beautiful and extended.

Have you tested water? Could be a high parameter, could also be hungry or even resting. It looks like a tonga torch in this picture.

PO4 is 0.025, I ran out of nitrate tests (more coming today) but last I measure was 1-2ppm. Only one fish in a big tank, I’m trying to get nutrients up actually. I feed it a few times a week also.

no3/po4 are low because the algae is soaking it all up I bet.

Alk was 7.2 yesterday, cal ~410, haven’t tested mag in a while since only two frags in a 130g system..

yes, I suspect this but I also believe I have dinos. So I’m trying to rein it all in. This weekend is going to be major manual removal of as much algae as possible, etc.

Try getting magnesium up to like 1500 or so. It won't hurt anything and it'll make lps happy.
