What's wrong with my fish?

So, my snowflake is paired, lives in a nem, and has been happy. Then suddenly she looks absolutely terrible. Her fins are shredded and it looks like the flesh is falling off. She won't eat and just wants to sit down on the bottom. Is this fin rot? Her male is fine and it doesn't look like anyone is picking on her.

How long have you had these clownfish?

I've had them 4+ years.

It doesn't look like brook. There is no film and it's only on the front and tail fins. Just at the ends.

Could be a bacterial infection. But if she isn't eating you'd need to put her into a QT and dose antibiotics. I'd use this combo: Kanaplex + Furan-2 + Metroplex. The latter also treats brook (just in case.)

I called our LFS and they have Furan-2 but not the others. They were saying they carry the Blue Life safety stop (the blue and the green dip), but I don't imagine that does the same thing.

Furan-2 is better than nothing. Its 1 packet per 10 gallons every 24 hours.

Melafix would be a "reef safe" natural remedy you could use. But I've only gotten it to work on minor infections which one could argue the fish's natural immune system took care of anyway.
