So, noticed lately my Fox nipoint at my brittle Star. Yesterday, brought home a beatuflul RBTA and this morning it looks deflated and torn apart. I've been watching and I occasional will see him take a few nips at it so the only thing I can think of was he got to it last night after the lights went out. He is the most aggressive eater in the tank but have never seen him aggressive towards others.

You mean a Foxface Rabbitfish? I have a One-Spot Foxface, in a tank with about 16 BTAs, and the fish has never shown the slightest interest in them. Although they are described as 'with caution' as far as keeping in a reef. If you keep it well fed and it's still doing this, yours may be a bit of a rogue.

My fF is in with 4 large BTAs and keeps his distance. Never heard of one going after nem.

Can't figure out what else could have happened to the BTA overnight. He looked great at the LFS and was doing well in my tank into the evening.

He might have thought your anemone was food until he tasted it and realized it's not. My foxface will kinda "mouth" things to taste them before actually ripping a piece off. So it might look like he's eating an anemone but he's probably not...realistically.

Didn't take pic when I got him and right now he's turned backwards so pic isn't great.

That's your nem?? It looks like he's already on the way out. I'd closely monitor it and make sure you're running carbon. If he stays like that then you'll need to remove it from the tank.

Sorry to say it's not looking good. You might want to nudge it towards a rock. BTAs like to attach to rockwork and don't do well in sand.

I got it as close as I could to a rock. That's HDPE (don't have sand). That's basically half of him. Found a piece under another rock that was mangled so just took that piece out.
