Whats wrong with my Hammer coral???

I've had this hammer coral for about a week and a half and it was doing awesome. The polyps were extended and it seemed to be doing fine. I fed it 2 days ago and I might have overfed. about a half an hour ago I realized that a line of brow slime was coming out of the coral's mouth. I did some research and found that it could be extracting waste which makes sense as I fed it a couple of days ago. I also realized that some black spots had developed on the base of some of the tentacles. I came back half an hour later and found it to be closed up and not looking too well. Here are some pictures. What's wrong with it?

Try to leave it alone for a bit and see if there is any improvement. Check your alkalinity and nutrient levels. If you don’t see any improvement browse google to see if it looks like “brown jelly disease”.

I think I can see vermetid snails on the base of the coral in the picture aswel. Try to get them of as it could be doing harm to your coral too. Might not be the reason, but any stressor can be important.
