Whats wrong with my Purple Tang

I woke up and see this white patch at tail on my Purple Tang, i am not sure if he get injured or some parasites developing.

My guess would be rock/hit etc. Tail fin would be an odd first presentation for a parasitic issue

My Yellow eye Kole tang did the same thing one time, except had blotches all over its body. Couple hours later they were gone. I was told it's a camouflage mechanism when stressed. Don't know if that's true but sounds good. LOL

Thats weird its gone. At night when my fish are sleeping, sometimes I shine a light and check things out and some of the fish are totally different color. Maybe something similar?
