Tentacles will get stubby as they start to die. however, yours just look retracted. most likely from something it doesn't like. maybe a critter irritating it or...who knows. anemones are pretty moody.

I have 4 btas and they look like that sometimes. I have 1 that looks horrible once or twice a day but always percs up. I think the clown bothers it a lil.

It is pretty new. I've had it for about 3 weeks. The clown is trying to ease his way in but seems to realize he's not wanted so he goes back to his spot in my euphyllias.
