He's been on his back ever since he shed. Legs just twitching like they were if he were up and about

I tried it's almost lifeless but it's legs are moving. Just floats till it hits the sand

He just molted and intervening can kill him, leave him be. If he is like that in them am remove as he has probably died.

I think he is dying why I do not know my parameters are dead on

Molting is like shedding. Crabs, shrimp, spiders they all do it as the grow. Sorry about this little guy

Maybe I missing something but there is a molt/exoskeleton right by the fire shrimp?

Right but I had a cleaner shrimp who would shed all the time and I've never seen this kind of behavior

Arthropods like shrimp need to be undisturbed after and during a molt, their new exoskeleton needs to harden and molting is extremely stressful. It's not uncommon for arthropods to die from the stress of molting alone. Typically shrimp and crabs hide to protect themselves, but sometimes for whatever reason they do not.

Did the Shrimp make it through the night?

From what I understand, they just live for a few years right? How long have you had him and how old do you think he was?
