Everything's been fine, all my other corals and fish are doing fine. All my parameters are in the right range...came home to this, whole thing is gone except about 12 polyps

Brown jelly disease!!!!!! Your torch will die and could spread to other coral

I would say its brown jelly, it will kill the coral quick, I advise to Suck the jelly off of it with a Turkey baster/pipette or siphon off with air line tube, do this with the flow off so it has less chance of spreading. Then i would remove the coral as it's a goner I'm afraid. I lost a 10 year old wall hammer, it was big considering how slow they grow, but it was dead with in a week and I'm glad it didnt take my other hammers out.

Thanks everyone, I googled Brown Jelly Disease. This in fact looks exactly like my issue. I removed the plug with the powerhead off ( it was glued ) . When it dislodged some of the gunk came off and wanted to float in the tank. I quickly grabbed my fine mesh net and got everything out. Thanks so much everyone for quick responses. Hopefully I got it all and it doesnt take out my hammer or other corals.

Definitely brown jelly disease. You might want to do a water change to, just to be safe.

And make sure to keep an eye on your other corals, especially other LPS corals.
