My worst shot would be , Bulding a DSB tank not large enough to have wrass (flat worm issues)
My best shot is hard becose I have many ... I would say that reducing my pistol shrimps hive in size kept it from being agressive towards my other critters.

My worst is not leveling my Marineland 150 DD tank and waking up to a fractured corner back when I first started reefing.

My best move is what I’m currently doing, which is planning my office in my new home around my tank. I have tile, tiled sump room, and all of the components to make this tank my dream tank.

My worst mistake was buying super expensive live rock from Fiji, overnighting it to the US, then rookie curing it in plastic storage bins with no flow or heat for days. Nothing living survived that, oh and I did it indoors so the whole house smelled awful. Rookie mistakes.

I reefed for years without an auto top off or a magnet algae cleaner, those are game changers!

My best was getting rid of the awful wet/dry filter I bought my tank with in favor of a true sump with a fuge. The worst was putting pocillopora in that tank. Polyp bailout!! I now have plenty of pocillopora if anybody wants some.
