What's your canary In The mine?

Not sure how many sps reef keepers have one in their tank. As the title says, which sps is your indicator that all is well.....or something is off? For me is my green birds nest. As long as my water parameters are good, it looks great! When they go astray, polyps contract and it takes on that "******" look. I realize this is a beginners coral, but I keep it for looks and more importantly it canary traits. So, what's yours?

my jedi mind trick montipora is hardy, but the first to change color with ALK changes and higher phosphates in my tank. The other sps colors of course vary slightly, but not as obviously...

my anemones tell me when somethings not right and my small piece of gsp,when those dont look right its time to act most of the times

Nowadays my Acropora millepora tell me if things are good or bad at a glance. In my older system used to keep a Pompom Xenia for this purpose and could easily within a couple tenths what my PH value was. I am a firm believer in observation being your best line of defense.

I agree with TJ, my xenia could always tell me something was up. Temp and PH always showed up wit my xenia first.

My Cali Tort, small PE tells me something is off. Extended PE tells me he's happy and all else looks good.
