What's your experience getting livestock from KP Aquatics?

Hey everyone - I got 50 pounds of live rock from KP last month (air shipped) and after a shipping hiccup the experience was pretty good. The rock has great shapes and tons of life.

Now I'm in the process of adding some swimmers to all that rock.

Getting fish from them means dealing with USPS/UPS/FedEx - a little slower than Southwest Airlines. I've never ordered shipped livestock from anyone before, and I'm super-nervous about it after reading about the horror stories from R2R - but most of that negative feedback has been directed at live-aquaria, but I understand that's a significantly different company that KP.

If you got fish from KP, what was your experience like?

I have always been pleased with KP Aquatics. In fact, I only get my peppermint shrimp there because they always chomp on aiptasia. I have not done the live rock, but have gotten fish, corals, nems, inverts. Always came in alive and well. I lost some, but not due to KP Aquatics.

I've not ordered fish, but myself and other club members in my area have ordered gorgs and softies from them in the past. Their prices were always very reasonable.

Everything I’ve gotten from KP is high quality . Very reliable vendor.

I've gotten many animals from KP and they are a great vendor, I got a blackcap basslet from them and he ate instantly. Customer service is awesome too.
