I have a 25gal AIO Lagoon tank (20gal total water volume) that is lightly stocked with mostly zoas, a digi, monti, and frogspown. Up to this point I have been "getting by" with weekly 25% water changes. Although recently I have noticed growth, specifically with my zoas, has halted and even receeded a bit.
After beginning to start testing Alk for the first time I noticed it was quite low, around 7dkh. I had always planned for my next step to be adding kalkwasser to my ato, but feel cautious doing so bc of fluctuations in the evaporation rate. Thinking of just jumping straight into a 2part dosing solution but am a little hesitant bc my tank takes very little time for me to maintain at the moment. With that said, I'm looking for the simplest way to begin dosing where I could go a week or two without refilling a dosing container (tested my alk and see a 0.8dkh daily consumption rate).
Curious what everyone's favorite solution for this is and/or any other feedback for my situation.
