i used to be all about the zoas but in the past couple of years ive shifted toward lps, specifically micros

my tank will always be zoas and palys dominated w/ a few other LPS and softies thrown in the mix..

I am loving the LPS. I have several varieties of frogspawn, couple different hammers brains, and of course ans many acans and micros as I can manage to afford.

I have a 225G fully mixed reef. I have mostly LPS though. I have 5-8 types of SPS and a bunch of softies.

I could literally do 7 or 8 tanks with focus on different things. 1 SPS, 1 aggressive fish only, 1 softies and zoas, 1 mixed reef, 1 seahorse, 1 for various inverts only etc...

My wife would kill me and my budget would never allow it but I could if I had the resources.

That's hard to choose. I really love my sps, but I love those acans, favias, and duncans also! I picked sps's though.

Im a big fan of mixed reefs, thats what i have some of everything but i love zoas the most!

That's like asking to choose between children... My lack of ability to find a favorite has directly lead to the 6 aquariums currently in the house. I have a whole tank pretty well dedicated to SPS and one dedicated to acans. is that SLPS?

I go back and forth from sps, to zoas, to lps. Right now i'm in the lps mode.

i used to be heavily into the zoa stuff. but now i'm more heavily into the sps bug. to me, since sps take longer to grow....and can have extremely bright colors......it just seems so much more rewarding to grow out a 1" frag into a baseball sized colony over the course of several years.

I voted for LPS. I have 2 tanks devoted to LPS and 1 with SPS.

I did like zoos but selling of all of them recently. Not into the crayolas or sticks as I call them so I would have to say LPS all the way.
