I'm bored and when I am bored, I like to research fish!
Doesn't help that two fish died and I am looking around, one was sickly and stopped eating for 2 months before he finally died, the other was bullied and killed by a flame wrasse.

Tell me, what's your favorite reef-compatable fish for a 75g tank (4footer).

In my 75 gal I like small-ish fish. Larger fish make the tank look smaller.

Small wrasses for their high activity level and beautiful colors (my favorite!)
Royal gramma and firefish for their bright colors
Blennies and hawkfish for personality (No hawkfish for me...yet...they are reef caution BTW)

I'm not into rare expensive fish though, obviously.

Gobies come to mind; shrimpgobies paired with pistol shrimp, clown gobies up in the rocks and corals, yellowline or neon gobies at the reef's top, offering cleaning services to passers-by . . .

Dartfish, whether the firefish or larger zebra-bar, scissor-tail or blue-gudgeon darts . . .

Perhaps one of the smaller Centropyge; cherubfish or flame-back . . .

If I had to do it over I would try a few neon blue gobies and just a few dwarf angles.

I’m looking to stock a 75 gallon (25 gallon sump) so I’m very curious what everyone had to say about this!
