That dark biotope has got to be a challenge, but it looks as though you've really made it work magnificently.

I'm quite fond of my sexy shrimp as well, and enjoy their interactions on their maxi-mini carpet garden. Also, Lord help me, love my brace of tuxedo urchins - even when I'm cussin' 'em out because they've knocked three more corals to the sand and are carting one more around as a diaper . . .

My favorite inverts that I have or have had are:
Nassarius Snails-so cool to see them come out of the sand when food is put in the tank.
Orange serpent star- I love all serpent stars, but orange is my favorite!
Skunk cleaner shrimp- as others have said, they are very interactive and fun to watch.
Fuzzy chiton- not much to say, but very interesting creatures if you ever research them.

Others that I haven't had:
Peacock Mantis Shrimp -coolest invert imo
Crown-of-thorns starfish

I'm all about snails right now. Trochus are my favorite. Turbos are good for GHA. Crabs drive me crazy because they eat the snails, so I'm staying away from them for awhile. I also love sexy shrimp and plan to get a few soon.

I had a female Pom Pom boxer crab for a few years that had an amazing personality but they are best suited for small tanks.

I always have arrow crabs. They were one of my first inverts in the 70s. The problem with an old tank is that when they shed, the bristle worms kill them.

I love my anemone porcelain crab and my pompom crabs. Of course, my sexy shrimp is fun and love the workhouses of my tuxedo urchins too. My tiger cucumber is a cool dude. I like too many to say just one. If I was forced to, I would say the porcelain anemone crab as it is out all the time and so cool when it feeds with the beautiful feathers.
