At 24:30, he says blue actinicsactually he uses all gman actinic blue, although he runs some other bulbs on one or two of his prop tanks. that is where the confusion comes from. he sometimes calls them actinic, but refers to how he uses mostly all blue light. One time he clearly says actinic blue t5s thoughs, and you can clearly see the bulbs are not actinic in his videos. gman makes the actinic blue. I forget what video it was, maybe some talk at a small reef club or something
There was also a video he put out at macna stating he uses all b+ bulbs over the tanks he does not have halides over
Haha oh no, the confusion continues. There are no bulbs called blue actinic lol. I thought he said actinic blue. One thing I know for sure, i'm not Jason fox so it doesn't matter. At 24:30, he says blue actinics
Link? Never seen thatThere was also a video he put out at macna stating he uses all b+ bulbs over the tanks he does not have halides over
Yes but his 700 has halidesIn the tour of his prop systems he doesn't have ANY halides, all T5 and reefbrites.

I have been running an 8 bulb T5 setup for quite a while:
5 B+
1 Actinic
2 C+ (The coral plus just for 5 hours daily)
and
1 blue ReefBrite Tech LED strip
My corals look awesome and are growing well.
That being said, due to the heat issues and super high power bills I have been putting up with every summer, I will be changing the lighting to Gen 4 Radions with just the actinic and a B+ next week. Also a semi-reboot with a more open rockscape. Stay tuned.

Love that monti mix on the right, well done.
What schedule are you planning on running on the Radions? I've been kind of at a loss what to do with mine on the hybrid fixture as I'd just like to let the t5's take over.
