Just bored and wanted to see some fish lol. Any way here's mine a little babe. She's about the size of a nickel Nothing out of the ordinary just a hippo but she's really cute, and surprisingly for a hippo not shy

Male Melanarus Wrasse picked up this past friday.

the wrasse looks like a female. will probably change into a male. mine looked like that two years ago. the spots will disappear and it's head will get more colorful.

I thought female melanarus was less colorful ? Pic on live aquaria is more dull in color. I was told at purchase mine is male.

added this bulb anemone 3 weeks ago and it's been hiding in a hole in my rock, occasionally coming out a little. I managed to feed him a couple of times. It has now moved to this spot over night and looks like this... Should I be concerned???

I ordered a pair of Moorish Idols last week, one died after a few days. They just sent me a replacement. I also am picking up these guys today:

Katoi Fairy Wrasse and Lanceolatus

the color is hard to see in that pic. too much blue. males will get green on their heads. the spots are a give a way. males lose the spots. here is mine before and after.

Yeah the melanarus is a juvenile it looks like its transitioning to be a male
