What's your oldest coral?

For me, it is another green toad stool. When I got a used 6 gallon nano cube from a reefer with some rocks, a green toad stool came out of 1 of those rock and it has made the journey with me for over 5 years. It has had many frags; some went to friends other went on craigslist. None of the frags was sold on the forums cause they have minimal value to the new hype corals. I still like the way the tentacle moves until I see the Japanese toad stool! Anyway, here is a few months old picture in my old tank. I keep the toad in the back of the new tank behind the big rocks now so I can't really take a good picture of it.

Nice eveyone! Keep 'em coming! Love the toadstools, definitely my favorite softie:) Some of these colonies are crazy big too lol.

Is that one a yellow fiji or a toad? Well they are very similar actually :)

Mine is definitely my toadstool at almost 12 years now. Currently over 16" across. My crocea was with me 9 years full grown when I lost it.

I haven't the foggiest. I got it so long ago, I am not sure the store even knew. I know in blues the base glows light green and the polyps are white. Not sure that helps. :)

When I got it is was less than an inch in diameter. Still one of my favorites in the tank.

It's definitely different then other toadstools I've seen. I love the white polyps:)

I had to dig through lots of years of photos to refresh my memory for this one.

13 years for the blue mushrooms, Green Caulastrea 10 1/2 years

12 years for these Dragon Eye Zoas, Back when they were cool. I have always had a few, but they definatitely did better in the old softy 29 under PCs than they do in the SPS tank.

Currently I believe my oldest is the red montipora in the middle of the picture, most of mine don't stay too long, I usually grow them out and sell them. About two years old

What a lovely brain you have.

Great topic @ReefQueen! My oldest corals are my green palys,Alien eye chalice and a Fire and Ice/Pina Colada zoa rock.I have owned them for at least 5 years.I will always be fond of my green palys because they are bullet proof and the polyps grow the size of quarters. Here's a picture of the zoas. The Fire and Ice(below)out competed the other variety years ago.
